During October 2018, teachers Amide Xhemal and Aleksandar Veljanoski with the ninth grade students carried out common activities from World’s nations section of the Annual programme for intercultural extracurricular activities.

Topics of the activities were Arctic and Subarctic, and Laponian tradition. For the realization of the activities, the students worked individually and in groups of mixed composition. They used previously collected materials, after doing research on the Internet, such as photos, texts, illustrations, and posters from daily topics.

The goals of the activities are to encourage cooperative relationships in a group with an ethnically heterogeneous structure, to support a positive emotional climate in the group, to encourage interest in getting to know areas of the polar and sub-polar zone, which possess rich and interesting culture and traditions.
