During February 2019, teachers Alpina Fejzuli Beshiri and Milica Apostolovska together with students of fourth grade, carried out the activity “Nature’s Treasures (Winter Recreation Centers)” from the month’s topic “Bulgaria” as part of the Section Education for peace and tolerance of the Annual Program for Intercultural Extracurricular Activities.
During this activity, students drew and painted paintings featuring ski centers, created posters with photographs of beautiful landscapes and the skiing center in Bansko, Bulgaria.
The aims of this activity are: supporting and fostering constructive collaborative relationships among students from different ethnic communities, deepening students’ pre-knowledge on cultural features and specificities of different countries in several European regions, familiarization of students with natural resources of neighboring countries, as well as enrichment of the active vocabulary of students with new concepts in close correlation with program situations.
