On March 21, 2019, the school psychologist Svetlana Asprovska Todorovic, together with the second year students, carried out two activities related to the topic “Caring for others is caring for ourselves”.

Within this topic, two parallel activities took place. The activity on ecology, where students designed recycling baskets and the activity marking diversity, the Down Syndrome Day, during which a text was read about the meaning of the day and students created a poster. The children wore colorful socks that are symbolic of diversity.

The objectives of the activity are: to overcome stereotypes and prejudices, to support constructive communication and cooperation among students from two different ethnic groups, as well as to support self-organization of students during the implementation of joint activities.
