Days of Ecology

During March 2019, teachers Svetlana Kocovska and Afërdita Amedovska, together with third-grade students, conducted activities from the monthly topic “Days of Ecology” within the Eco Section of the Annual Program for Intercultural Extracurricular Activities.

Through introductory games, students were introduced to the daily topics “Rain” and “Ecology day”. They worked in groups in which each student individually was given a task to create umbrellas from different materials as well as eco cards on the occasion of The Day of Ecology.

These activities aim at expanding the acquired knowledge of students related to natural changes in the spring period, discovering and interpreting the interrelation of natural phenomena occurring in spring, fostering a positive socio-emotional climate in the group, encouraging the creativity, imagination and patience of the students during the creation of crafts with different materials.
