During October 2018, teachers Zana Amedovska Selimoska and Sashka Dellova carried out common activities from the Eco section of the Annual program for intercultural extracurricular activities for seventh grade.

Within the month’s topic Eco Etiquette, teachers informed students regarding the Day of European Languages while students prepared a poster related to the topic with words written in Macedonian, Albanian and English. They also discussed about the World Food Day, different cultures and their food traditions, and through brainstorming, they talked about ways in which they within their families or their relative circle can contribute to help but also reduce the level of food waste and waste in general.

The goals of the activities are to support team and tandem cooperation while organizing eco – project tasks, to encourage eco-awareness and eco-conscience among students, as an assumption for responsible behavior in the immediate environment, and to enrich the active vocabulary of students with new concepts in the field of ecology in both languages.
