On 22nd March, 2019, teachers Deniz Recepov and Zujca Stojanova together with first grade students carried out the daily activity “Flower garden” from the Eco section of the Annual Program for extracurricular intercultural activities.

The activity was carried out in a dynamic working atmosphere. The students independently created flowers from plastic caps, drew butterflies and birds. Their works were exhibited in the classroom’s display, forming a flower garden.

The aim of this activity is to encourage students to independently monitor the changes occuring in nature, expand the children’s experience on natural phenomena, as well as to perceive their interconnection, sensitize students for possible ways of using waste materials in the household, and  to encourage children’s originality and innovation in creating new products with plastic waste material.
