On January 29, 2019, teachers Svetlana Kocovska and Afërdita Amedovska, together with third-grade students, conducted activities from the month’s topic “Air polluters” within the Eco Section of the Annual Program for Intercultural Extracurricular Activities.
The teachers carried out research activities in which the students actively participated. Through research activities, students deepen their knowledge, discover and become aware of certain natural phenomena such as fog, smog and smoke.
The goals of these activities are: to deepen the pre-knowledge about the characteristics of the air as one of the prerequisites for living, to discover the causes for certain natural phenomena, to encourage and foster constructive collaborative relationships while carrying out research tasks as well as to apply the acquired knowledge in everyday life.
