During February 2019, teachers Syzana Spahiu and Gjurgjica Marinova together with students of first grade carried out activities from the month’s topic “Winter adventures” as part of the Art section within the Annual program for extracurricular intercultural activities.
The realization of the daily activity “Igloo” started with introductory games. The students divided into two groups collaborated with one another. In large sheet papers they made Eskimo igloos, using beans and popcorn.
The aims of the activities are: encouraging the artistic curiosity for artistic creation with different non-standard materials, exercising precision and patience when cutting, folding paper and gluing different types of grains, strengthening of the cooperative relations between the members of the group as well as empowering students for modeling and constructing with different materials.
