On April 21, 2018 NDC Skopje organized a conference consisting of lectures with international experts on intercultural education as part of the basic level training for Nansen model for intercultural education. Paula Mcllwaine from the Northern Ireland Council for Integrated Education presented the program for anti-bias approach in integrated schools, while Steinar Bryn from the Nansen Academy in Lillehammer, Norway presented the ethos and the need for intercultural education. As part of the conference, Group 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23 teachers were awarded certificates for successful completion of the basic level training within NDC Skopje Training Centre. The necessity and importance of the training programs for teachers in primary and secondary education in the Republic of Macedonia was also emphasized by Mr. Safet Neziri, state adviser on education policies at the MoES, who welcomed the present teachers. The event was additionally enriched by awarding certificates for successfully completed advanced level of training to the teachers from Group 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 within the NDC Skopje Training Centre. To all 200 teachers from primary and secondary education in R.M. we wish many new professional successes.
