Meeting with Minister for European Affairs within the Ireland Government

On September 27, 2012 NDC Skopje representative Mirlinda Alemdar participated in a meeting with the Representative of the Irish OSCE Chairmanship-in-Office and Minister for European Affairs within the Ireland Government Ms. Lucinda Creighton. The meeting was hosted by the OSCE Ambassador to Skopje HE Ralph Bret. The purpose of the meeting was to share the information and the ongoing program activities of the NGO’s that are working in the field of education, human rights, freedom of media and their general assessment regarding Macedonia’s EU accession process.

This meeting was important for the exchange of information and to hear the perspectives of the NGO’s due to the fact that on January 1, 2013 Ireland will undertake the 6-month Presidency of the European Council for the seventh time which will coincide with the 40th Anniversary of Ireland’s accession to the EU.
