On January 22-23, 2014, the President of the Board of the Nansen Center for Peace and Dialogue Mr. Sigmund Hagen together with the Director of NCPD Ms. Ingunn Skurdal from Lilehammer, Norway, visited the first integrated primary and secondary schools in Preljubishte, Jegunovce Municipality. Afterwards, the NCPD representatives visited the premises of NDC Skopje where they attended presentations prepared by the NDC Skopje Executive Director Sasho Stojkovski, Project Manager Veton Zekolli, Manager for education, training and development Biljana Krsteska- Papic and PR Coordinator Mirlinda Alemdar. The purpose of the visit was to get informed about the NDC Skopje program activities in the field of integrated education as well as discuss future plans for collaboration between the two organizations.
The NCPD representatives also visited the primary school Slavcho Stojmenski in Vinica Municipality which is one of the schools that applies the Nansen model for integrated education. The representatives attended one integrated extracurricular activity implemented by the teachers included in the project Ms. Shenaj Amedova and Ms. Sanja Smilanska and afterwards met with the school Director Mr. Jordan Stojanov.
