On March 11, 2017 Nansen Dialogue Centre Skopje organized an International Conference on the topic “The Role and Importance of Interculturalism in Education”. The Conference was held in Skopje and was organized as part of the basic level training program for intercultural and integrated education within NDC Skopje Training Centre. The Conference was consisted of lectures from three distinguished international experts who are part of the international team of trainers within the Training Centre for intercultural and integrated education Ms. Paula Mcllwaine, Northern Ireland Council for Integrated Education (NICIE), Northern Ireland, Mr. Paul Rowe – Executive Director of Educate Together, Republic of Ireland and Mr. Steinar Bryn – Nansen Center for Peace and Dialogue, Norway. The conference brought together 140 teachers, schools principals, pedagogues and psychologists from primary and secondary schools in Macedonia.
