On this day 160 years ago was born Fridtjof Nansen, Norwegian researcher, diplomat, humanitarian, Nobel Peace Prize winner who dedicated his life to the service of humanity.
Nansen’s passports were internationally recognized refugee passports from 1922 to 1938, issued by the League of Nations, for stateless refugees.
We remember his work proudly.
