In the period of 15th to 17th of April 2011, a three-day seminar has been held on the topic: “The game component in the extracurricular activities”. The seminar has been opened by the SIOFA representative, Ms. Hajrie Elezi. During the seminar, the teachers and professors who are involved in the realization of integrated bilingual extracurricular activities had an opportunity to attend the lectures of Prof. Ann Kelleher and Kelly Ryan from the Pacific Lutheran University, Prof. Steinar Bryn – Director of the Nansen Network for the Balkans, Suzana Agotic – representative of NDC Osijek, the Vice Director of the Bureau for development of education – Ms. Ajshe Selmani, as well as Mr. Jashar Kasami from the State Inspectorate for education.
The participants had a direct opportunity (through numerous practical tasks) to superstructure their knowledge and skills when applying the game as a leading method when carrying out activities in groups with mixed ethnic composition.
