On 25.12.2018, teachers Todorka Nane and Nadica Nane carried out the daily activity “Turtle” as part of the monthly topic “Our pet” from the Eco Section of the Annual Program for extracurricular intercultural activities for the fifth grade.
For the realization of this activity, the students were divided into groups and worked using various materials for making turtles and turtle habitats. The activity also contained different games for the manner of movement of these animals.
The goals of this activity are fostering a caring and responsible attitude towards the animal world, encouraging cooperation between students and teachers from both groups, encouraging and supporting a positive socio-emotional climate in the group as well as enriching the active vocabulary among students with new concepts in both languages.
