During October 2018, teachers Svetlana Kocovska and Afërdita Amedovska, together with third-grade students, conducted activities from the month’s topic “We live healthy, we eat healthy” within the Eco Section of the Annual Program for Intercultural Extracurricular Activities.
For the implementation of the daily activities Vitamins and Food Pyramid, students discussed about vitamins, their types and their importance for humans health. They created 3D shapes of fruits and vegetables as well as posters with the food pyramid.
Some of the goals of these activities are to recognize the importance of healthy nutrition in everyday life and the importance of qualitative nutrition for proper growth and development, to promote a successful collaboration in groups and tandems, to encourage the children’s creativity and authenticity, as well as to support a positive socio-emotional climate in the group.
