(15.11.2010) Due to the Muslim holiday, Kurban Bayram, and for the purpose of getting introduced to the culture, religion and tradition of the fellow-mates, on 15 November 2010, the students from IDOU within OOU “Marsal Tito” have been hosted by the families Agusevi and Ahmedovi. In a manner of real hosts, the parents of Alise and Umut have managed to closely transfer the way and meaning of celebrating this holiday to the fellow-mates of their children. The dominant place on the festive table has been given to baklava – the symbol of the Turkish cuisine and holiday. The students have enjoyed the visit; they had fun and learned more about the meaning of this big Muslim holiday.
